You could try doing a search for photo's only. see if they appear in the window, right click on one if it does and get the file path. That's what i did when i lost a folder. I found it in another folder

I suspect they have just moved into another folder. To delete them completely you would have had to click 'yes' when asked "are you sure you want to delete the files completely".

Do a search as someone above said.

Also to make that search a little easier

Select from the menu at the top "View" and then select "Thumbnails"

Should save you double clicking on the picture each time, It'll show you them in a preview-ish mode!

Good luck

You've probably accidentally dropped the folder into another folder. Anyhow, here's (one way) how to search in XP:

Double-click My Computer
Press F3

(A side panel will appear with the question "What do you want to search for?")

Click All files and folders

(A form will appear with three questions)

All or part of the filename: jpg
A word or phrase in the file: (leave blank)
Look in: Local Hard Drives

Click Search

You'll probably find a shitload of stuff in Temporary Internet Files that you can ignore but hopefully you'll find your photos as well.
