As the third goal went in on Saturday and the unbridled abuse erupted, I turned to my youngest and said...."I think we might have to settle for a draw here"
.....One of the regulars stood next to me said..." A draw did yer say...yer having a laugh ... we're three goals down"
I replied.." Yeah, I know, it was a bit of irony".....
Puzzled, he looked at me and asked..."Whatany?"
.. I said " Irony"
...."Ironing?" he asked.
I then decided to give up and said.."Yer right, we arent gonna score three goals..."
He went all smug and said..." That's what I said in the first place!!!!"
So I was the one person leaving the ground with a smile on my face and shaking their head....
