Did Duffy do anything other than get fouled for the penalty?.

I don't know, there were too many other players in blue shirts running around.

So let me see then...

Barker 2
Foley 2
Antwi 1
Robson 1
Brown 1
Duffy 0

Is that about right?

We wear white now, but they seemed to field at least 5 more players than us - hardly fair. The players in white ran around alot but usually without the ball.

Oh well - it's the Gills next, I think we can count on your support there

I was expecting Port Vale to be singing 'Vaaayyy----Ulll' on Saturday like normal but all they did was boo and slow handclap.

Which was funny....

What happened to the unique 'P-V-F-C' chants. I shall find out soon enough as they are our next home game......

The only chanting I heard on Poolsworld was our lot. Honest they were subjected to a barrage of abuse, from one bloke in particular, practically from the off and us scoring in 6 mins didn't help them a bit.

Fair enough we'll revise the table to suit those rules ;)

Foley 2
Brown 2
Graham 2
Antwi 1
Robson 1
Brown 1
Sweeney 1
Duffy 1
Boyd 1
Moore 0

The point being (a very tenuous point I admit) that under both systems, failure to sign Duffy isn't yet proving the end of the world.
There are still 43 games left of course. for Brown, Barker, and Foley to blow all the others out of existence.

You can't count Duffy with 1 or you would have to give Brown an extra goal as he won the a penalty that Barker converted.
Boyd 1
Moore 0

Now I look at it again, I think that list could do with being simplified, for example...

Pools: 9 league goals (+ 3 cup)
Leeds: 9 league goals (+ 0 in cup)
Everyone else in the division: no more than seven league goals at best and who cares about cup games anyway

Whatever our weaknesses are at the moment it's pretty hard even for Jonny to argue they're in the goal scoring dept.

It was great to see us being clinical in front of goal yesterday. Its the exact opposite from the start of last season.

to be fair im not sure you can count barkers 2 penalties converted and not count the one duffy won.

and also to be fair after failing to sign danny graham and duffy we ended up with moore, so the table could just as easily read

graham 2
moore 0
duffy 0.

at least moore was a freebie.

please note i havent mentioned mr a boyd.

Lets revise that for you Mr Chip .

Moore 2
Graham 2
Boyd 1 (If penalties dont count ? )
Duffy 0

So far, So Good, well done DW  rolfl

Please note i did mention a Mr Boyd

I see Duffy didn't score tonight for a change (and yes he did play the full 90).

Anyway, forget Moore. Brown's 4 will do very nicely ta. He's shaping up to do what David Friio did for Plymouth in 2003/4.

I'm not surprised with your eating habits.

It's chew each mouthful 22 times not chew 22 mouthfuls once.

Hey you missed out the day before yesterday, on the way back from Yangmei, they took me to a place underneath the flyover on the ring road. Not for a kicking no, for a meal.It was empty when we walked in but they ordered ducks blood soup with spring onion, lemon and chilli duck with sauteed cabbage and sour vegetables. You've never tasted anything like the duck, I'm told it's Nanning's speciality food but I only found out then and there. When we came out there wasn't an empty seat in the place except ours.

Fed four of us with two beers for a bit over six quid.
