As some of you who post on UTS are aware one of our regulars is currently living and working in Ethiopia.

He has been collecting unwanted footy tops to distribute amongst the locals, we collected a fair few and he took them back to Addis with him a couple of weeks ago.

A few of you said you would be willing to donate shirts, and I've been elected as collector at our game against you on 29th of Sept.

So if anyone has any old shirts lying about (yup we will accept Pools shirts  ) that need a new home please let me know.Any size or club accepted. Thanks in anticipation

Do you think you'll be able to find the Poolies this time or will you be skulking in some corner suffering from frostbite in the blazing heat of the North East again?? :sweeeet: :uhoh:

noooo don't do that, ANY shirt will be much appreciated,These people have nothing and yet love our English game.Apparently the Ethiopian football league closed a month early this season over some dispute and no ideas yet on when it starts again. And we think we have it tough?

Neil my Addis friend has promised to send pics of the locals in the Walsall tops donated once the rainy season has finished in about 3 weeks. I can't wait to see a nice African kid parading around in my Walsall top

football the international language

Well yeah.

Men try and wipe out third world debt. Created by people like Indirha Ghandi, Bhennazir Bhutto, Eva Peron and Imelda Marcos.

Women ask for old shirts so they can photograph poor people in them.

No wonder women think blokes are stupid eh??
