Everything in their obsessive lives is done at an intensity that feels like the headache you get from eating really cold ice cream and all revolves around their effect on the planet, these obsessive bean counters spend their weekends on a demo or in the supermarket reading food labels and then after several hours of note taking demand to see the manager to harangue him about fair trade coffee or additives or slave labour or some othe crap...they then spend their evenings with a box of hankies freaking out over a documentary about the Peruvian Turnip Beetle followed by a couple of hours at the Drum Workshop were assorted fishwives lecture the assembled group about the need to bond with mother earth by blowing whistles and banging drums all clad in charity shop dungarees and ill fitting tee shirts and ethnically sound wooly hats...........
They also drive a Volve 4x4, but use the massive motorhome to get to demos against the new motorway, they fly to distant remote locations around the globe several times a year to experience the result of global warming in club class and like to empathise with the local peoples(waiters)...they have all the latest electrical equipment and use more power than Blackpool pleasure beach... does that give you a rough idea?
