from Poolsworld it seemed like we were completely flat until Tinkler & Humphreys were replaced in the middle of the park by Bullock and Strachen.

True or False ?

Wasn't it dire until Nelson got clattered in the 78th? minute or thereabouts.

He had a bluey moment and got everyone wound up. Thank god for that. :)

Once again we were up against a poor team and we couldn't beat them. Yeas we hit the bar twice and had one cleared of the line but we still only scored one (at least it was 1 I suppose). We should have been hammering them today but we didn't seem interested until it was too late.

not a case of not being interested more a lack of guile to give us the opportunity to hammer them

IT WAS DIRE....The second half was 'better' but that's relatively speaking. A bloke near me was in heaven with our forward line of Foley and Brown but come on, they are kids with a couple of tricks with a way to go yet and this was not gonna be the day the peaked. The midfield was pathetic, Tinks was just not up to it and as a result, Sweeney was out of it too. Richie ran about but so did my dog. Robson is not a left back. Strachan seemed to bring some composure and hardly wastes a ball.
We never looked like winning and if we've any intentions of promotion we should be wiping out teams like this.
SPEAKING ON THE RADIO AFTER THE MATCH... Wilson said we needed two more players, Boland han't received clearance yet so couldn't play.

We were awful. Clueless, guileless and flat. Second to every loose ball and bullied all over the park. We need some bollocks on the field and some players who'll put their foot through. We stuck far too many 'Beckham' crosses in from the sideline and they just got battered away. I could have cleared every one.

Saving graces?? We scored.

Errrmmm,.........that's it.

No..hang on...there was no chips ready at half time under the Millhouse....

But Mr Parmo got me in for nowt. Ta Mate!!!! [smilie=pdt_aliboronz_18.gif]
