I always fear this might come across as callous but people are dying of heart attacks and dying other unexpected deaths all the time. I can't weep for them all. Death is part of life.

Nah, I can see that. Bad thing to happen, sad and unjust, but these things unfortunately happen.

I'm still surprised that everywhere I've looked, there's been no comparative comment with the words "Marc Vivien Foe" in it

Why?

Because every commentator or reporter always compares something like that (such as a death on the football field) with a past situation. It's as sure at John Motson saying Teddy Sheringham's age in years, months, days and hours every time he's subbed on in a game.

I suppose so.

Go on uncovered if you are looking for a comparison, someone has already put a link to a youtube video of Miki Feher's pitch death on there. Watching the video I have to admit I didn't feel comfortable. A bit like a car crash I suppose, you can't help but have a look.

He was that Hungarian fella wasn't he, at Benfica? I didn't hear much of that when it happened, I know it was on live TV though

Have a look at this clip on youtube. I'm not sure if it is genuine or not, but its certainly very strange

After doing a bit of quick research it seems the guy in the video had some kind of seizure and was fine the next day sctatchinghead

That is MENTAL

His backflips look like something out of The Exorcist!

I always shake my head when someone dies at Glastonbury. It always makes big news.

However. There's 250,000 people at Glastonbury in one way shape or form. Law of averages is going to kill someone. Maybe two.

Especially when you consider the amount of irresponsible behaviour that takes place there.

I'm fairly sure I died twice there and subsequently got better..... :uhoh: :uhoh:
