Anybody else reckon that Proctor and Porter would be a good forward pair at this level if given a run of games?

I seem to recall that the only time in his career that Proctor has scored regularly was when he was on loan for somebody like York or Halifax in this league.

Or does he get written off on the basis of last season even though you all seem so reluctant to do the same to your little pet favourites who also contributed to our relegation by being absolute gash?

One thing I will say about Proctor is that he has never lacked effort. If the rest of the team gave as much then we'd be a lot better off.

Lets face it, we're not scoring what can we lose by giving him a chance.

I'll give them grief til the cows come home if they aren't putting in the effort and I'm not shy to admit it.

What I cannot stand is seeing half-arsed performances from players whose wages I contribute to who don't seem to give a flying fk.

If the difference between you and I is that I would rather see a player with average ability giving his all and you would rather see a talented showpony swanning around disinterested but occassionally flashing the odd bit of skill then that is fine by me.

Sorry mate............but neither average players giving 100%, or show ponies tossing it off, is good enough for me.

Either of the options means relegation.

Does the name Ritchie Humphreys mean anything to you Officer D?

Or how about Tommy Butler, another prime example?

And I know that it is early days but James Brown is showing worrying signs of falling into the overrated showpony category too.
