Agreed - Monkhose offers so much, his gangly runs at the opposistion, his interchange with team mates and he wins a lot of flick ons from goal kicks etc, it will be great to have him back.......

He probably agreed with many of us that RH's performance wasn't good enough at Luton and Matty Robson deserved a chance after his impressive pre-season.

Half a game Tubby. He was subbed just after half time wasn't he??

I have five questions for you:

1. Did we win??
2. Did we win in midweek against quality opposition a league above us??
3. Were we a little unlucky that we didn't get a result at Luton??
4. Are we off to a very good start compared to last season??
5. Have you got tummy ache??

Or have you already ate your bait and have to wait 'til 12 for the sandwich van??

yeah I know it's six questions but you thought 56 mins was a full game.

Let's see: five goals for instead of none. Two wins and a defeat instead of two defeats and a draw.
No, are we bollocks!

They were scouring the world for a bulk supplier. I picked it up in the Chinese Chamber Of Trade export bulletin. Deals over 25K a month.

I don't get to as many games as most of you lads but my threepenneth is that Richie was a little lost when he first went to full back but has improved a lot and I would be happy to see him as the first choice left back (but he shouldn't take every free kick and throw in). He doesn't have the touch or pace to play left midfield and our first choice is Monky. He doesn't give the ball away as much as Matty and is better defensively than Matty. In his absence then Matty is the next best choice. Danny obviously sees something in Matty and has worked hard to rebuild his confidence after the mauling the boo boys gave him last year. To be honest I've never heard of any player getting better by being booed off the park. It doesn't sound like Elliott is great improvement over Richie at full back and I think he should be in the squad as cover - not as first choice. He certainly hasn't played in many first team games over the last couple of years.

The one thing Danny needs to instill in all the players is that we now have a strong squad and a strong bench. If you don't play well then others deserve and will get their chance. That should apply to Joel but I can understand Danny giving the Barker/Moore combination a little longer to gell - but not much.

Monkhouse is ok but he's no good to us if he loses his head like he did at rochdale and gets suspended for stupid tackles. Might think he's the big man for doing it but i look at it and think it cost ius the title.

Sadly Humphreys inst good enough for League 1, he proved that last time. He is also too slow for League 2 never mind this one. I dont expect him to feature much.

Robson deserved his chance on Saturday as Humphreys was awful all pre season and in first league game. Sadly Robson was shocking too on Saturday.

The quicker we have Elliott at left back (and tell him to keep away from free kicks) and Monkhouse in front of him then the better.

I think Richie is fighting for the left back slot now, and to be fair I didn't see many better left backs in league two last season (apart from Lewington at MK Dons). He was one of our best performers and did a fantastic job in a new position. He is going to get a chance at left back now with Elliott banned and there's every chance he'll take it. He probably hasn't performed well enough on the left wing for a while and was certainly poor at Luton, buts lets be fair its a long time since since he'd played in that position in a competitive match.

tree how can you say Humps is too slow then say play Elliot at left back
Elliot was too slow for Coppinger on Saturday and finished up getting sent off when he almost strangled Copps when he beat him with a simple side step
and dont get me started on Elliot's dead ball stuff
