dimi 4. caught a few crosses, hoofed a few long balls. let in 3

williams 1. back to the form of last season. distribution was as bad as any professional footballer i have ecver seen and back to conceding free kicks with dumb challenges.

nelson 8 will be playing at a higher level soon, but not with us.

clark 8 cool composed. his substitution was the final nail in the coffin. time for him to fight the manager.

liddle 3. had a very poor game. his distribution was shocking.

robson 3 see above

boland 0 waste of space. no better than strachan, bullock, tinkler etc. playmaker... hah hah hah. totally anonymous and blatantly not fit. will HE be dropped. will he fook.

sweeney 4. ran about a lot.

gibb 1. we now know why he doesnt see much of the ball. bet he was brilliant at hiding as a kid.

daly 4. to be fair he tries. nice finish.

brown 7. one of the few plusses from the game but it wont be long before his confidence goes.

porter 3. like the rest of us... rapidly losing interest. understandably.

williams 1. did he touch the ball.

wilson 0. utterly utterly clueless.

A little generous if you ask me

Seriously though Brown 7? He's too slow, poor on the turn and lacks confidence - other than that - he's the new Adam Boyd

& Gibb - he spent most of the 1st half screaming for the ball, didn't get it though, whether he could have done anything with it is open to debate but he's like the kid at school nobody likes & gets ignored in games 'cos nobody will pass to him

I think he has promise - if anyone will pass to him

But like you I can only go on the 1st half in front of the Millhouse he may have gone downhill in the second, he did on Tuesday

Dimi 5- He looked a bit shakey and out of sorts. He didn't make a save did he?
D Williams 6- Up until the last 25 mins when our defence went to pot he looked quite alright. I also noticed that he had the deceny to applaud and thank the fans rather than shoot off to the changing rooms.
B Clarke 6- He didn't do much wrong.
Nelson- 6 Didn't do much wrong but went to pot when our defence was messed around.
Liddle 5- A bit hit and miss but most of the team was.
Gibb 5- Had a pretty poor debut, was hit and miss with his passing but did put in some good crosses.
Sweeney 5- I hate to say this but during the second half I barelt noticed him.
Boland 4- Seemed off the pace.
Robson 6- I'm not taking the piss but he wasn't THAT bad. Right, yes his distribution was all over the place but so was everybody elses. He put in a few decent crosses, 50% weren't ok, 50% weren't. He wasn't that bad but he didn't have his best game. He started to go downhill when he was booed.
Brown 6- He did ok first half but struggled to get in the game second half.
Daly 6- And again, I'm not taking the piss but he wasn't too bad. He won a few headers but missed one or two chances when he should have done better. If he'd have stayed on he might have got a lower mark but bringing him off saved him from going downhill like the rest of the team.

Porter 4- Couldn't get himself into the match to make an impact. He needed a bit of time to settle but by coming on as a sub he didn't get much chance to do that.
E. Williams 4- Similar to Porter but I didn't notice him much. In fact, I can't remember him touching the ball.

They seem a bit too high for the peformance. For me Robson and Daly were no worse than some of the others. They were sort of average compared to the whole team.

Dimi- 3- his mark reflects how many he let in, he was poor
D Williams- 5- his worst game this season
Liddle- 5- his worst game this season too
Nelson- 3- too soft and clueless
Clark- 8- the only one at the back who can hold his head up today
Gibb- 3- looks like he wants to be anywhere except Hartlepool
Boland- 3- and that's generous
Sweeney- 4- he needs help in midfield and is cack when he is left on his own
Robson- 6- yes, some of his distribution is poor but he was one of our better players out of a bad lot
Daly- 7- unlucky for og, put himself about a bit, some nice touches and flick ons just a shame that his partner is pants
Brown- 2- for turning up, he did nowt and should be in the youth team never mind the reserves

Subs? Well they were all great weren't they. Since when has Eiffion been a left winger? We'd have been better off with Derek Hatton stuck out there.

Nelson 3? Robson 6?

Thankyou for confirming what we all suspected.

You know fook all about football.

Try judging on what you see and not marking players cos they are one of your little favourites or someone you have written off as not being good enough on the back of him being played out of position for such a long time.

In fact, you could even try thinking for yourself for once.

Apart from that you marked the rest quite well.

I've never "celebrated" him leaving, I've merely pointed out that he hasn't performed at his best for a couple of years.

Oh and I dont boo him during the game.

Mind you..........I KNOW you and your lot ARE partial to booing our own players. Remember I stood with you and watched you and heard you.

I haven't accused you of booing him during games. Are you paranoid?

And you have a selective memory going by your other comments.

I admit that I can get annoyed with certain contributions by some players and tell them that I'm not overly pleased, but I don't do "booing".

But by the same score there are people in the Clarence Road stand who do so should I classify them as "you and your lot"?
