The lad is more creative than anything that we have in the final third of the pitch, it could prove to be a huge mistake not even attempting to sign him. I really hope that we aren't going to have a frustrating season in front of goal.............

After giving us half a million I suspect there was no way Luton were going to let us have him back.

Groovy - That isn't really the point, we know how good he is, not only at scoring goals but at holding the ball up and creating space for team mates. It seems that Pools made no attempt to re - sign him what so ever, that is what is massively disappointing.......

Jonny,we dont know wether Pools made any attempt or not,my guess is that we enquired & were told immediately that we had no chance.

Groovy - Why would Pools be told no chance? And wasn't Wilson quoting as saying that Pools were not interested in Boyd?

When there has been no evidence to suggest that Pools made enquiries about Boyd, ie - Boydy himself would of blabbed and word would of got back I really don't know how you can come to the conclusion that we tried to get him but failed. I said that he was a snip at 150k like the loids bid and stand by that statement...... So for free it seems that Orient have one hell of a player.....

Just back, stopping Peterborough for the night. Played some good passing football first half but just never looked like putting the ball in the net. Went behind to apparently some dubious refereering which I missed but after the first half expected us all guns blazing in the second, unfortunateey it never happended. We looked sluggish a bit void of ideas, porter came on for Richie, who missed a couple of good chances but he played him out wide?????
Second goal came from nothing, we didn't seem to have any motivation from then on so I fecked off to beat the traffic. Must have missed our goal sadx
New signings, Antwi looked very good first half, ok second, moore, a lot of running about but that was about it, Mcunnie seemed to do ok, Elliot was not very good and I thought Lee Barrett could have done better with first goal but hard to see from where I was sitting. Lots of huff and puff from richie barker but nowt else. Man of match either Brown or Liddle both who made great runs during the game.

Final word, its going to be one long season unless we have someone to put the ball in the net but i'm sure thats been mentioned before.

He is stopping in Peterboro but there are lots of ways in which you can post these days anyway. 'Web and walk' on your mobile for example.....

Are we going see a thread like this every time Boyd scores or we get beat

He doesn't play for us anymore, some people need to get over it and start backing the lads who are wearing a blue and white/red &black/ or yellow and green shirt...........

As long as thats been cleared up.

I think we should have one every time one of our forwards doesn't score and when Leyton Orient get a better result than us as well.
