Did anyone else get woken up by the police helicopter last night? It sounded as if there was a car engine going in the bedroom. Can they not make them any quieter?

I presume it must have been after a stolen car or something as you could see it had the spotlight out. It looked like an alien ship or something with all the lights.

As a former helicopter engineer I can tell you that the police chopper is only noisy because of the angle of the rotor blades when in low level slow speed pursuit or hovering.

The only other reason for the noise would be blades out of track but that would be checked weekly.

Maybe Cleveland Police could invest in Blue Thunder and it's whisper drives?.

LOL, no need for the sarcasm! Blue thunder would be good though!
