clappp

He has a point like, how many clubs would have got away with that huge pitch invasion they had which halted the game for 30 odd minutes?

Honestly, I don't have a problem with Leeds, no really, I don't, I just like to see justice and a level playing field.

If you hopped onto our rivals website you would find posts from other clubs confirming that they too had pitch invasions that went unpunished last year and other years - prejudice eats you up mateys. Barnsley had a bit of a do on the pitch when we dropped in last year just out of interest. Try and rise above your prejudice. mot

Marching On Together is one of the few songs written specifically as a club song and one which spent some time in the charts but more importantly our big number, one we sing as the lads come out and throughout the match. Most football songs use an existing tune I think but could be wrong. Any way we love it and it's a perfect fit just now as we suffer a major injustice:

We've been through it all together
And we've had our ups and downs (ups and downs!)
We're gonna stay with you forever
At least until the world stops turning 'round
Every day, we're all gonna say
We love you Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!
Everywhere, we're gonna be there
We love you Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!
Marching on together
We're gonna see you win (na na na na na na)
We are so proud
We shout it out loud
We love you Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!

(We tend to ignore a couple of earlier verses)

Season could go either way for us now but the thing we now have and which will unite fans and team (and secure support for Wise) is a cause. A great motivator is a cause.

I don't understand why some people on here are so obsessed with their misfortunes to be honest. I would rather talk about our own season's prospects, and our chances on Saturday.
Personally I think they'll sneak it 2-1 or 3-2, but I reckon we'll do alright this season.

On a kind of serious note..throughout this whole episode posters on TEAB from your club have been in the main sympathetic to our fans, and always sensible in their argument without resorting to the moronic abuse of some.

They stand out like a beacon compared to some other clubs, I will be honest I have never had a view one way or the other about Hartlepool, and I don't mean that to be insulting, but the way you guys and girls welcomed us on here, and have posted about this whole sorry mess has left me with a soft spot for your club..kind of odd 20 or 30 folk can shape your perception of a club but thats how it is.

So good luck for the coming season, aside of ourselves I wish you every success..think we are going to struggle to win it now so i would happily settle for us taking second place behind the monkey hangers

I've never read a torrent of abuse like the Leeds fans have had to put up with on To Ell And Back. If it had been good natured piss taking and general pointing and laughing it would have been crack. As it was it was every Rivals moron shouting 'HAHAHAHA YOU'RE DEAD NOW!!!' and probably spelling it wrong. The good natured and witty way they repelled all boarders really changed my opinion of Leeds fans most of whom, who I've met in the flesh anyway, are a bit boorish. There's one goes in my local in Worksop who's STILL maintaining that 'Leeds'll not g'dahn.' Even though he's a one visit a season man, it's only one hour on the train and they've be relegated twice since he managed to string the words together.

So based on that, it'd be nice to roll out the red carpet of welcome and tolerance for these kids 'cos they aren't going to hear anything new about dirty Leeds, Ken Bates, Bournemouth '72, Peter Ridsdale, David O'Leary, cordless drills or Gary Sprake. It's over it's done and it's a done deal whatever's happened and whatever they deserved, so it'd be nice to move on and appreciate other fans coming here to talk to us.

First time posting on here, just thought I'd say thanks for the better quality post from some of you guys that have visited TEAB....
Football banter is a big part of life as a football fan so after the constant repetitive insults we recieve from what feels like every Club in the land, it makes a refreshing change to get posts from 'pool' fans introducing humour and banter without resorting to the usual cordless drill jokes....

Keep up the good work you are all welcome, if any of you fancy a few jars at Elland Road the Dry Salters is a friendly pub that welcome away fans......We met up with about 30 Wednesday fans in there last season, we had a good craic without any trouble.

Cheers
