I love the way they have put Sunderland reserves 0 Hartlepool 1 as if to suggest it was our first team beating your stiffs rolfl

Does seem a bit petty

Chris Turner and Tommy Miller were at the game

Which Tommy?

Looking at the team it seems that Bullock played centre half I suppose he is good in the air though, looks like he is turning into a proper utility man now after his spells up front before

Pools: Allison, Gott, Barron, Bullock, Robson, Foley (Maidens), Turnbull, Young (Haigh), Monkhouse, Rae, Mackay.

Subs not used: Race, Tait, Proudlock.

It seems weird but in a way it shows how seriously Danny Wilson is taking the coming season. He obviously wants to focus on the players who start the campaign and just ensure that Monkhouse is 'fit'. For the sake of 3 games (when Monky is suspended) I bet a lot of clubs would be playing him in the competitive friendlies regardless.
