hi was wondering if anytone knows about ariels etc as i have a freeview box but no co-ax cable in my room is it possible to get a normal ariel from say tesco and it will work with the box to get sky sports news as of saturday

Should do but you might need a signal booster unit as well.

Try Maplins - about 14.99 - indoor aerial with signal booster, it plugs into your mains as well as your tv.......
