Apparently chuddies are undergarments in gujarati, to prove that the same word has a different meaning in Hartlepool can someone please give me an unprompted definition of the word:

Chuddy (adjective)

Slang term for chewing gum, eg I gobbed me chuddy at her and clagged her hair up.

Chuddy isn't especially Hartlepooolese though is it.
Looking though Google it can be said anywhere in (at least the whole of) Britain.
