Can you imagine a Pools team in our history getting praise like that.

Last night has given me great optimism for the coming season. I just wish to god that we still had Dimi as I reckon we could have the meanest defence in the division.

As I come out of the ground last night I was thinking that this is the best Pools team which we have ever had, twice the side that got us promotion in 91 and better than the side that almost got into the championship.

Fingers crossed.

I liked his comment when Mark Simpson ventured to suggest it was a fair result.
If he'd been more fluent in English the answer would have come out as "Was it fook. We were all over them like a rash".
