going to be in the shops at midnight tonight buying the new Harry Potter book?

I finish work at 11:10pm and am heading straight to Tesco to get it for the mrs, I am far too good to her sometimes. I have to buy 3 copies, 1 for her, 1 for her dad late fathers day present and 1 for my grandmas birthday next week.

No, neither for me either. I have an unreasonable prejudice against anything that's heavily hyped. I would say that anyone who's got kids reading books again is a folk hero though so more power to her elbow. It's the fookin' reviewers that do my crust in. It's not the second coming it's a fookin' book however good it is.

Anyway, two deaths. That's MAGIC!!!!!

Talking of fantasy and fiction, I could do with 2 deaths in the big brother house. I fookin HATE it. Trouble is our lass loves it so you see where that leaves me.

Never read or watched Harry Potter and not interested in them, though anything that starts more people reading has to be a good thing. Big Brother? I would send a big atomb bomb down on them all.

I heard on the radio this morning that Chidline are putting extra staff on their helplines over the weekend incase some characters die in the latest book and that upsets the kids that are reading them!

I hope JR Rowlings husband's not a director of Childline then?
Otherwise he might want more business and do a deal with his wife and then all of a sudden, in the next Harry Potter book they get slaughtered in their thousands
The Harry Potter Chainsaw Massacre!

The ex lass used to love Harry Potter, I think it must be a chick thing. I watched some of the films after the pundits claimed they were origional, imaginative and that it was fantastic but just about everything in Harry Potter has been seen many times before and I haven't even watched that much.

It's almost like JK Rowling has ripped the books from everything she has seen, it's not very good.

*It will be interesting to know what happens in the last book though, I reckon HP is gonna be re-united with his parents or that they aren't actually dead.

That what my mrs reckons or something corny like it was all a dream and he goes back to being a baby again to grow up with his parents this time.

I quite enjoy the books, they are much better than the fil-ums
