right, I was fuming with Matty Robson, but the booing he recieved - you could visibly see the confidence drain outta him.
He also looked close to tears at one point.

this isnt right, it really isnt

and no matter how utterly sh ite i thought he was, i felt for him as a person, so shouted to him to get his head up etc twice

i'm not saying i'm a saint, cos i'm sayinh here he was gash, but the booing like that aint on imo

Boo at the end by all means to make your feelings known but to boo your own player during a game is just plain friggin stupid and ignorant.

The boos were out of order. Others were just as bad. Matty has always hated playing in front of the "rat run". His play will get worse if he's booed.
Jermaine Easter was another boo boy
I blame Danny for todays defeat not Matty.

I don't advocate Booing and have never done it myself having grown up with a lot more shite than we watched today but what else are supporters supposed to do clap politely as if at the opera and turn to the guy next to them and say "dashed hard luck that chappie is having but he will come good I have no doubt."!!!!

The tihng I admire about Robson is that he visibly responds to the booing; when he lost the ball and the booing ensued, he turned round and CHASED IT. Where has the heart gone from the team?! We used to play hard constantly, but the last two years I can see nothing from us now but mid-table mediocrity.

In the wise words of St. ECG, it makes my piss boil.

I NEVER Boo - NEVER, came close at the end today though

NEVER barrack players during the game, came close today though

NEVER leave early, came close today though

They are gradually wearing me down, when will came close become DID today?

Am I the only person who thought that Matty was one of average players today. He was hit and miss, some balls he put in were poor, others were quite good...but that was the story with every player. How many times did we needlessly give the ball away today? Matty was guilty of that but so was everyone else.

I booed today. Not proud of it, but I felt it conveyed my anger at the poorest game I've seen in ages.

I didn't slate personally, I just told them to pick their f*cking heads up several times, like when Dimi was moping after their second (for which Nelson quite rightly shouted at him).

Nearly left early too, the first time the thought's ever popped into my head

Matty Robson will never set the footballing world alight, but i'll tell you something, that kid NEVER hides during a game, NEVER shirks responsibility, and is always trying to make something happen.
When you get as much of the ball as he does, you tend to notice the mistakes more. If you ghost through the game without touching the ball (Gibb) you wont make many errors.
I'm no fan of Matty, but i do admire his work ethic, 100% effort throughout.
Maybe some of the more senior pros could take note.

I think the difference bewteen Matty and others, Gibb, Bolland, Sweens yesterday, and other games is that Matty never hides, he could hide from the ball, make himself unavailable, however he doesn't, he wants the ball, he asks for it. Consequently, he has the ball more and is more prominant that others, all this 'worst player in the club's history shite is beginning to get to me.
