I'm hoping to at some stage although no concrete plans as yet.

I would imagine that a few drinks will be in order if the occasion arises though.

No, football is on it's arse in China. The big-wigs at the CFA took it on their toes with all the money and the season almost never started but a big brewery stepped in at the last minute with some sponsorship and they managed to keep going.

The nearest club is Guangzhou Pharmaceutical who are playing Manchester United a week tomorrow on United's Far East tour. It's the Gunagzhou Olympic Stadium, holds 80,000 and tickets are 60, 40 and 20 quid. The 60 quids will obviously be full of uniforms.

Apart from that there's Shenzen United a bit further away than Guangzhou (400 miles) and the rest are up North or in Shanghai. All the kids like basketball although there's an hours five a side up for grabs on a Saturday night if me lungs will stand it.
