Can't think that KPMG have come out of this with much credit. They hardly secured the best deal for the club by refusing to open the books to the other bidders. Wonder if the taxman has been satisfied by the deal or does the court case in September still go ahead? Seems like football has missed the opportunity to get rid of Bates

Like I said on your board Whalley, it's a bit smelly that the season tickets were underwritten by Bates before the deal was done. Makes it look as though it was a foregone conclusion BEFORE the other offers hit the table.

That only reflects on the Administrators, not the club management, but it seems VERY irregular.

I don't properly understand the season ticket thing pooliekev but my money went into an account called LUFC 2007 allegedly to protect my money from being used to service creditors. Because this money was avaialble in the 2007 pot I think Bates was able to make his commitment.

I am one of only 3 people in the whole of Leeds prepared to give Bates a chance by the way - this is partly because I am naive, partly because I can't bear the thought of being in the hands of a crook and mostly because I think the old curmudgeon has something to prove and needs to save us to massage his ego after being Abramovitched. Fool, I know.
