I can as a kid years ago remember playing footy with a hartlepool england international player but cannot remember his name at moment first name may be jackie but not sure could you help.We are talking 70s and he was getting on then so played for england quite a few years earlier.

he played till a good age and was on the rec every week in the seventies
could be your man
i remember playing against him and his team were all old men just loved the footy
they could keep the ball a bit and liked a odd kick at someone who tried to skim past them
