"Newcastle claim there will be close to 5,000 Geordies making the visit"

(http://www.newcastleutd-mad.co.uk/news/ ... &id=343348)

This a wind up or does it mean both Pools and Newcastle?

Should we get tickets in advance?

I think I'd rather wank a trout off than go to watch that match.

If it was Newcastle's first team and a full team of Pools players all with an S in their name I would not go. Friendlies are for training purposes only, to charge almost full price for entry is taking the piss.

I dont think im going either tbh. I refuse to pay £15 to watch reserves. Let the mags fans line the clubs pockets!

Most of the mags fans will be from hartlepool anyway!

Soz to step out of line like but I'm hoping to be there.
Its gonna be a difficult season for me as I wont be able to make many matches due to work, training, setting up business and family commitments so I'll be trying to attend whenever I can, especially in midweek.
Now I'm not suggesting I'm dead excited about our new signings and we'd all love an exciting attacker but I'm looking forward to casting an eye over the new lads

We have had a meeting and we will not be going...for the sake of my f****g blood pressure.... banghead The very thought of Hartlepool people, born and bred, swanning about in their black and white shrouds, pretending to be geordies and praising 'their team' would probably be enough to put me into low earth orbit. rage
The AZ match is a different matter.

I won't be there and I would normally bend over backwards to watch Pools but £15 is disgraceful and the club have lost out through greed.

I'd have paid a tenner.

AH yes,but do not forget your loyalty is being rewarded. banghead  rage

Glad it's the granddaughters birthday that day and we won't even have to choose £55 for us all to watch a friendly or go to the party at Mr Twisters. thrilled

I will go but i think 15 quid is way tto steep, like TPP says it should've been 10 quid in. No doubt the police will be out in force ready to arrest anyone for coughing or farting......

Reckon I'll go just to watch our new signings, besides I hate close season and can't wait for a fix of live football.

If Pools is full of plastic mags I'm not quite sure what that makes me living just north of Newcastle like. I'm sure someone will politely enlighten me!

The Mags should have been given the normal 900+ tickets for the Rink End and anyone wearing their colours found in the home sections of the ground should be ejected, just like any other away fans.
I'll be going but I just know that I'm not gonna be able to focus on the match properly cos there'll be some asshole there in the Town End with his kids sporting fecking Mag shirts and I just know I'm gonna have to comment on it !
This town is full of black n shite or red shite shirts at the minute and I'm sick of the sight of them.
On a home match day we should organise a large mob of Pools fans to go for a drink in the Office (or Dingo's as its now called) next to the train station just to abuse all of these scumbags as they make their way to the train to go and watch bastad Newcastle and fecking Blunderland.
Rant over but it makes my fecking blood boil. banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead

Nah , there's not many of 'em actually go in there for a drink  , I meant it would be a good place to go and abuse them, 'cos they have to walk right past it to get there trains. rage

And for the attention of ADG, they have a pool table to keep the mob happy inbetween abusing Mags/Makems, lots of food/kebab/burger selling places nearby and I dont think the drinks are that badly priced either.
clappp

That reminds me of an old fable. A farmer went into the fields one day to find that all of his cows were frozen solid. An old woman passing by saw the farmer's predicament, and went up to him. She told him to go and make a cup of tea while she sorted out the frozen cows.
Five minutes later the old woman came inside for her cup of tea, and told the farmer everything was now alright.
The farmer asked how she did it, but she told him it was a secret that could not be revealed. The farmer then asked what her name was.
It was......................................

Thora Hird.
