Is it because of the way it flaps in the wind and helps us ascertain when there is to be a throw-in or a corner kick? sctatchinghead

As in a pendulous flap of skin?

LOL, yeah sort of like that I suppose

Not that the Corner flag makes me think of a pointless bit of excess skin

rolfl

A whole new meaning for "going for the brown".

But I don't want to get banned from the Corner Flag. I love it!

What if someone wanted to get banned from a popular messageboard. For arguments sake, the Bunker.

right. Your banned. Now shut the fook up.

Didn't he say 'popular message board'?

I often find myself in there before or after a match for the one pint (because of the drive).
I go downstairs. The beer is cheap and good. There's no bother, no attitude, enough tellies to see scores or games. The staff are fine. they put the odd free grub on. Away fans come in and there's never any hassle. To be honest, I'm not sure why people have issues with it.
I havent seen any masonic leg twitching or hand wobbling either sctatchinghead
Is it not just inter-club gossipy bitching stuff or is there summat else more sinister?

I have been on a few corner flag bus trips, and it just seems like a bit of a cliq. There's a totally different atmosphere on the HUDSA buses where most people are up for a bit of banter. Many CF members just don't come across as being very welcoming, maybe the ones I've met are just a bit shy. My judgement is perhaps cloudy because I had a little fling with a young lady who is a regular there but she fell in love a little bit quick for my liking, and i found her a little weirdafter a while. (no obvious puns please)

I have also been refused entry on a saturday before because i was not a member yet away fans were being let in. I'm sure some of the fellas who go there are top lads but I've just not many of them.

My experiences of the place are from 5 or 6 years ago so I suppose it might of changed, i might pop in next season to find out......

I went in a couple of times a few seasons ago and got charged 50p 'cover charge' at the door. I thought it seemed to take ages getting served and it was too small so I graduated to the Millhouse and latterly to anywhere selling bevvy cheap with a game on the telly.

Ditto, provided you got in early and got a decent seat. Although the service could be painfully slow!

No, I go to King Johns, then the Mill House and then have a pint in the ground behind Mill House Stand.

also what is the crack with the town end bars everywhere else in the ground get a nice bar with a tv in the town end you get a shack that looks like a pikey did it in his dinner hour and two toothless cackling witches with tashes serving you beer, and thats at the back the one near clarnece road is ok but look out for the sign at the back giving the staff the collective prices of so many beer why cant they add up?

well on second thoughs probably not

We go in either King Johns or the Corner House depending on whether there is a match on Sky.

Bottles in Corner House only £1.50 and has the footie on.

Rest of the time is King Johns.

Used to go in The Spot for cheap bottles and Sky matches but they shut it down. Not sure if the new version of it does the cheap pre match drinks or not?

Nooooooo. Please don't say anything else. I'm just getting over parmo's insider account of how quorn is manufactured (which was partly responsible for my daughter's conversion from vegetarianism!)

Me neither. I hate them, think they're too sweet!!
The bottles of shots are ok though. They're great when you have a get together with your mates. They're even better when you get them for free!!
