I know it's not a shock but Boyd has been officially transfer listed

http://www.lutonfc.com/cgi-bin/newspro/ ... 1091,53704

Also transfer listed are: Sol Davis and Goalkeeper Marlon Beresford.

Sol Davis would be a decent signing if my memory serves me right...

Its been said many times but bringing Boyd back would be good business if we get him for 150k or less.

Don't think there's many players in our division with his vision or touch.

Sol Davis was the guy who had a stroke last season.

Once you've had a stroke, what are the chances of it happening again?

We're not going to splash out more than 150K are we. Can you see us offering more for Boyd than Duffy?

Kinnel I looked at their site and they've just signed two players with a combined age of 74. Come back Tinks! rolfl

But that's today, what will he be like in September? October? November? What if he's only scored two goals, will his pet lip come out again? I'll stick the pussy in the pigeons here, but I don't trust his temperment.

I said the other week I'd have Joe Allon (mk1) and Gordon Watson in attack ahead of Adam Boyd. That's because they lived to score goals, their aim for being on the pitch was to put the ball over the line, Joe more than Watson as Gord did like to do a bit of entertaining now and then. What worries me about Boydie is he enjoys beating his marker more than he does scoring a goal.

Boydie is not a sniffer, he's an entertainer, when he wants to be.

Danny has been tight lipped on who is and who isn't his targets.

There wasn't a sniff of an insider coming on the boards and saying we're signing Antwi or Budtz if I've spelt his name right.

I say 120k offer jobs a good'n even if he puts his pet lip on he's still got one of the best first touches in this league, he's never going to be the run till you drop type like Barker or Porter but his skill easily creates as much as their effort.
