drive you fcuking loopy??

I've just queued up for twenty minutes all to pay a poxy £20 cheque in.

Why not use the machine Kev?? I hear you ask. Well the machine has been carefully sited so that the sun shines straight through the windown onto the screen and bleaches it out so you can't follow the instructions. Then there's ONE till open and the bewer on it is about one hundred and six and the silly cow in front of me in the queue has no idea what she's doing and then finally as I was starting to set things on fire and spitting everywhere, they opened the next till and said 'sorry to keep you' NO YOU FCUKING AREN'T OTHERWISE YOU WOULDN'T HAVE SHUT ALL THE TILLS!!!!!!!!!! Then the woman on the next till finished and the lass behind me who'd only waited a minute got served straight away.

And I went staright to Barclays to open another account. rage

Staright?

Is that from the song "This flight tonight" written by Joni Mitchell and made famous by Nazareth?

Why not use an envelope and drop it in to the quick till inside the bank then it exactly the same as long as you pay it in before 4pm it will clear exactly the same way.kajira.

'Cos this is Worksop and they don't have sophisticated things like that in Worksop. I wasn't bothered when it clears, it's only twenty quid it was just a job I was doing while I was down there.

you do know that HSBC who charge 35 quid for every transaction whilst you are overdrawn have put up 12milion quid for the world matchplay golf
this week. capitalism is a wonderful thing.

You should bank at NatWest like me PK. They have signs up in their branches saying we aim to serve you within 4 minutes. I've never had to wait longer than that, which is just as well because I have a rule, I don't wait more than 5 minutes for anything

banks are evil rage and do what they can and lie to exploit you.

do a budget (sounds dull but worth it in long run) and then youll never get charged for an overdraft.

eg of their exploitation

student boy has a student overdraft
student boy gets a job and bankers let him pay back when on £x p.a.
student boy gets a job and must get slalary paid into his bank to cover his debt. they give him a new overdraft and also a switch card for this impulsive moments.
they then up his ovd, offer him a loan for a car as well as car insurance and also a visa card.
they then raise his limit and start bomabarding him details of mortgage when he is at a certain age - he still has not paid off his student debt as they have him by the balls.
he gets a house and they take his mortgage, with sickness, contents and buildings insurance.

he's fooked as they now have him for long time jonny.

banks rage

I actually bank with First Direct so I don't have to go anywhere near the scumsuckers at all, however in the rare cheque transactions that I do, you have to go to HSBC and pay in over the counter or through the machine. They have a grand total of TWO counters in the local branch.

I used to bank with halifax until I asked to withdraw two grand and they told me I couldn't have more than £1200 in one day.
