Where have all the Walsall fans gone? I know the Saigon pervert is still around but where are the rest? Miss Marzipan for example used to post a lot but not now. She could be on honeymoon I suppose confised

Hi Poolie friends, don't worry we are still here, hovering quietly.

Not much to say though really as there's not much transfer activity being reported around Banks's Stadium at the moment. Hopefully Mr Money will be beavering away in the background and will have some announcements for us soon - I hope so anyway as he released quite a few and so far we've seen nowhere near enough incoming players to replace them. I'm sure he has things under control though, and of course lots of contracts expire on 30th June, so things might get moving very soon now - hope so anyway.

Have you seen much player movement so far, has Danny been a busy bee or is he taking his time like our lot ?

Hope you've not been experiencing too much horrendous weather up there in the north east, obviously Sheffield has taken the worst and I guess they're about halfway between you and us. We've escaped the worst, but not so far away on the Rivers Severn and Trent there's been some very serious flooding and damage. How about you ?

Don't worry about our "pervert" Saigon Saddler, he's a fine guy really, you'd like him if you met him, which brings me to another subject. Are we going to organise a get together before the games at the Victoria Ground and Banks's Stadium, I think that would be really good ?

Go to go (or "gorra gew" as they say around here  ), busy working to get up to date before I head off for a few days in the Lake District starting this weekend.

All the best guys, catch you again soon.

Yes, as Geoff implies, we are just slumbering, at the moment, awaiting the last-minute flurry of expensive, top-class signings (I wish!)

Sorry for not posting, been on holiday and busy at work (& UTS) and all that. Excuses, excuses.

METHINKS  Saigon might be perving his way around the far east as we speak(type). I'm not sure where Walsallmom is, she ain't on UTS much lately.

BTW, can you please spell Walsall properly? rage

Hello boys and girls, hope you are all well.

I'm posting in reply to hartofthepool's (is that you ADG? ) post on our site. Same as the others have said things are a bit flat at the moment but we'll soon be comparing notes I guess, once things get back under way.

I like all these fancy colours next to the 'post a reply' box. Whats all that about then? confised

Morning Poolies

You were enquiring where we all were pooliekev?

Dont fear, we are around - just getting on with close season. Oh and the small matter of looking out for DD and his new signings.

My first post on here - hope you poolies are as friendly to us as our UTS?

I wasn't Mr I was, but it's good to know you're still hovering. We're alright on here as regards other fans, you're very welcome, and if you like arguing about owt, this is where to be. Crankiest bunch of bastads ((c)ADG) in the world on here.

No Splod, we don't want to nick 'em, just copy 'em !

Would it be a really big deal, they're so much better than ours, we have a very limited selection to choose from. :uhoh:

Would be nice, but I'm only a moderator, don't have Admin rights or whatever it takes to sort this out.

Strangely, there was a time when we had a different Site Host that we could change text colours, but as far as I know we can't do it these days.

Maybe our Mr Exile can help or advise on this.

I'm not sure the hobby horse smiley is worth nicking for your board. It's got our anthem 'Two Little Boys' on it, but feel free!!

It's not the hosting system that gives you the option of colours it's the new version of phpBB (message board software).

You're using version 2.0x whereas we've just upgraded to 3.0.
