Quakers decide not to sign Boyd

Luton Town striker Adam Boyd has seen a possible move to Darlington collapse, according to Quakers chief executive Jon Sotnick.

Boyd, 25, travelled for talks with the League Two club.

Sotnick told the Quakers official website: "We met the player and his agent at the Darlington Arena but the talks did not go as well as expected.

"Following the meeting, Adam Boyd is not a player the manager (Dave Penney) feels would enhance the team."
