As mentioned in another thread, the bus convey to Darlo was spectacular. Is there any pictures about?

I think last season was the best season ever for best moments, in chronological order;

The 5-3 win at Peterborough, one of the best games I've ever been to.

4-1 win at Grimsby, I wasn't there but I can't remember Pools ever scoring 9 away goals in 4 days (I bet there have been seasons where we have struggled to score 9 goals. MadJohn?)

Jon Daly's 45 goals in one week

The last 15 minutes at Accrington. 2 class goals.

The xmas period getting texts at 5am with score updates in Australia along the lines of 'another 1-0 win'. It was starting to get boring!

Beating Walsall at home and realising that we had a real real chance

Pulling it back against Stockport from 3 down, on the train and on the lash!

Destroying the scum and seeing the best goal I have ever seen live (that reminds me- I haven't watched it in a few days)

Promotion day at Wycombe, one of the greatest days of my life! :uhoh: :uhoh: rolf

My favourite Pools season ever

:grin: I was supporting Pools that season. I spent my pocket money on the bus fare there and back, entrance fee, programme and a pork pie at half time. A total of 12.5 pence or half a crown in those days. If there were two home games in a week I used to borrow my pocket money early so i didn't miss a game.

Come to think of it the bus fares were extortionate in those days as well. :laugh:
