what is everyone's favourite year that they were alive? Not purely for football reasons though.

Imagine combining a great year in your life with Pools having a great season,it's been either one or the other for me . banghead

Depends on criteria and hoping this year or the next can be defining but looking back I'd probably plump for 1991.
Lived in London until the autumn having a rare old time with friends, saw a reasonable amount of the footy, then decided to fuck off out of everything to clear my head and went to Israel to work in a kibbutz on top of the Golan Heights. Met wor lass on the plane and still with her (she actually got the last seat on the plane), and spent the rest of the year in incredible scenery (except for the odd burned out tank or village and the Jordanians and Syrians spying on you), climbing, picking and irrigating avodado trees, driving around on a tractor with my t-shirt on my head, eagles, vultures, chameleons, wild boar around me, walking down the valley to the sea of gallilee and meeting new people and cultures.
Fascinating and life changing. Went back there twice after that and it gave me the confidence to travel loads in the next three years.

Yeah, thats what I meant by saying I saw a reasonable amount of the football - but not as much as I would have liked. And my mam's still not speaking to me for the state of the house when she came back from her badly timed weekend away.
