Was something on the local radio this morning about low life breaking into the Vic over the weekend and stealing vital training equipment etc, hope they get caught, not ideal preparation for our first home game of the season stpid

The scroats were probably after the silverware in the trophy room but couldn't find it so they grabbed whatever was at hand. Seriously though this is far from being the first time that tomb raiders have broken into the Vic over the course of time, you would think that security would now be tightened to the nth degree. What if the nobhead's intent had been to set fire to the stand instead? Could this be yet another example of the general decline of the club?

A decent burglar alarm connected to a security company, silent one so the burglars don’t know they are being monitored. As it’s not the first break in I imagine the insurance would be expensive, a decent alarm should make the insurance cheaper.

How much are they going to get for them, £10, surely their original intention wasn’t to break in and steal strips ?
I would be more concerned as apparently it appeared so easy to break into there is nothing to stop others breaking in and setting fire to the place.

Stand up comedy from the Empire theatre circa 1956, wasn’t funny then either.

The Police are appealing for witness/cctv/dash cam etc as they were seen running down the road with the shirts in their hands.
Total idiots they can never sell them, dont they realise they have serial numbers on the shirts i.e. 1-11.

As if the CID would be remotely interested. Pools will get a crime number but that will be the extent of police involvement.
