Molyneux and Sterry for a start but neither were in the starting line up. I watched the first half then fell asleep.
I only watched it to gather piss taking material to slap my Donny supporting friends but will now keep well away.
Boro's defending was atrocious from what I saw.

made worse by rovers changing there whole starting 11 from saturday where boro kept half of their side in. imagine if that was pools getting hammered in the trophy by an average NLN side at the vic who did the same.

If a NLN side came to the Vic with their reserve side in the FA Cup and put four past us there would be hell on from our usual suspects because no way should that happen. We are expected to beat the likes of these, which is why we are definitely going to beat Braintree 17-0. Anyone not expecting that is superfan lowest levelling. UTP, WSO,BBG, BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and strictly come dancing.
Have I gone mad, no I'm joining in.

Apologies folks, my friend and his four year old grandson are visiting. Whilst I was out in the kitchen putting the kettle on for a coffee, the little 4 yo got hold of me laptop. :character-smurfguy:

Let’s be honest, if by a miracle, we won every each but drew one single match, that match would get more grief, hand wringing, moaning, abuse and general arseoleness from the ‘experts’ on here than you could possibly imagine.

It's good to see that the usual suspects would just accept it then. Let's be honest over the last few seasons we haven't been able to beat nLn much anyway.

Imagine getting beat by a reserve side 4 nil at home and nothing being said, boro fans with their multi million pound squad just accept it, meanwhile back at the ranch where shitting ourselves about the mighty braintree.

It's a home banker for me.

But the supershitship fans don't like that.

Probably want us to lose so they can moan at the moaners.
A strange bunch for sure.

When we go into the top 7 on Saturday night they will be arselicking again.

Who is shitting themselves about the ‘mighty Braintree’…?
Simply anyone saying don’t take anything for granted is hardly ‘shitting themselves’.
The ones I despair of are those expect a win and take it for granted….if we win they immediately dismiss it as being expected so nowt to shout about and complain because the goals weren’t in double figures …..but if we draw or lose see the end of the world on the horizon but get a warm sensuous glow at being right…a sort masochistic thrill.

you know the result of a pools game by the next day. more comments there is about the game the bigger chance is of being beaten. even then after someone got a hat trick it would be ignored and comments like i know we won but they were shite and the one the boo boys love to hate still had a nightmare.

It's football there's shock results happen all the time - the mighty York couldn't win at home against Sutton, Palace beat Liverpool, Braintree thrashed Halifax, Boro losing to Donny reserves, etc.
It's only a problem when these shock one off results morph into regularity and the norm.
