we need to remember that its europe and not just this country. thats the place they need to be stopped entering and not the channel itself. once in europe you are bound to see some percentage here. nobody is going to come direct to the uk from anywhere else but europe itself. once a sea crossing was our savior but governments have stopped that threat.

With us as an island nation, surely the boats can be stopped.
Something needs to be done!

As for the entry into mainland europe, borders need to be closed.
Anyone found should be deported back over the border.
We should send them back to France, France should then send them back over their borders and so on and so on.

We should stop giving them free stays at hotels, free food, money etc.
That all needs to be halted right away.
There should be no reason whatsoever for them coming over to the UK, there should be no incentives!

Things can be done but governments don't want to know!

This country has been going down the pan for 40+years, long before the massive influx of immigrants made the place even worse. No problem with mosques being built, if their are more immigrants coming in, you'd expect that to happen, but I do have a problem with our filthy streets and deserted high streets. That has little to do with immigration, plenty of our own white trash who contribute to the filth in our streets, and poor governance not immigration has contributed to our empty high streets and pub closures etc. If 10 million immigrants disappeared tomorrow, vast parts of this country would still be a shithole, and will continue to be a shithole for years to come, if people continue to accept and vote for the likes of the Conservatives, Labour and Reform, although to Reforms credit, they are the only party committed to attempting to sort the immigration problem out, but I doubt they'd sort many of the other problems, mentioned above, out.

not sure seriously. there are plenty in this country who could claim asylum in another country to get away from the tyrany of this government because they have the wrong opinions and face jail for spouting them to the public via the internet. alex belfield, lucy connelly and many others have been banged up already for having an opinion and the new bill will make it even easier to ban dissenters anf lock em up. i,d guess now plenty on here including me have posted things this government does not want to see.
