I will let him know. There is only 12 on York Road so getting an appointment maybe a problem.

How often will it be emptied, could be dodgy in warm weather.

Apparently they have to empty it weekly, no doubt our esteemed councillors will either find a way to charge us more for it

jesus f christ. once putting rubbish out used to be a simple procedure, put a bin out or actually get it collected once a week. now it seems to be getting a dull time job to check everything to put it in the correct bin just to make sure they,ll actually empty it.

I can't understand what people manage to fill their bins with, I put my blue bin out about once every 3 months and my green bin every couple of months as they're usually quite empty.

anybody ever thought of where a lot of people will have to put these multiple bins. i have a drive and a garage with two cars. eventually one car might have to be put on the road if i do not want to move them to get the other car out with more than 2 bins.

Every 13th day my black bin is always rammed with empty beer cans.

A beers can is worth between 1p and 2p each in scrap.

Do you crush them first or just put in the bin as is?

A 15kg dumbbell near the bin does the trick for me.

feed it back to the working poor and give it a fancy poncy sounding name. everyone will be after it then.

Never crush.
Me n Mrs Gloves have a game of beer can quiots/billiards with the emptys on the beer garden gravel.

2 pts for a direct hit
1 for a ground first hit.

The bitch beat me last week 26 - 23.

Put it in the same wagon as all the other shite.
In my old job we used to have to meticulously separate our recycling from other food waste, had 3 bins, for Biffa to collect all 3 at the same time emptying them into the same wagon.

in that case leave em separate for a local scrap man to collect if you have one. rather they make a few coppers out of them than the council. when i see ours next i,ll ask him if he is interested in all our food cans.
