as with all strikers they are as good as the service they will get. ok pools might not get back into the league any season soon but will spenny get promoted. personally i,m glad garry madine is with them next season and not at pools again. he had a decent spll but not much before or after that where expectations were bigger than the end product.

The very fact that many Pools players go from Pools to the likes of Spennymoor tells you everything you need to know about both calibre of player we are signing and their attitudes. The sad thing is, I would have kept the likes of Liddle, Dolan, Madine, if only for another season, which tells you everything about the calibre of many of their colleagues at Pools they left behind.
