Your reference to blatant racists posts/threads were deemed to be opinions by the mods.

We are an open forum and sectionalising categories is not considered necessary.
No further discussion was necessary and so the topic was closed, nothing more nothing less. There was nothing wrong with the topic as such but as it had been answered, it was no longer needed. A waiting time was allowed in order for people to comment.
If you are so concerned about the opinions of fellow posters you have two options, either educate them by reasoned debate or ignore them. Shutting Englishmen up when they are concerned with what is happening is not going to be achieved by throwing the racist card at them. That ploy is not working so I suggest an alternative is researched.

I don't think you can speak for everyone when you say your thoughts on if you were of pakistani heritage. Most people are born in the UK and feel much more british than the place of their heritage/where their parents were born, because they have lived in the UK permanently and only ever visited the place of their heritage. So you're trying to stamp your opinion on those who have actual lived experience of it.

We have this discussion at work regularly. The company I work for has a very clear Diversity plan in the UK and USA but farms work out to India where their Diversity percentage is 0%.

its quite simple really. if you were born in england you are english no matter what the colour of your skin or ancestory. you play for england and nobody else unless it was an accident of birth where you and ypur partner were working abroad for a short time and the kid was born in another country.

entering the uk for a new life and seeking asylum aint nothing new. its been going on for hundreds of years without many people raising an eyelid. the present situation though is entirely different mainly due to the numbers and many lying about there intentions to be here in the first place. never heard a single word on here about the ukrainians we took in due to there conflict or others if they were actually fleeing persecution. thing is its usually women and children first to get out but this time its mainly younger men who should stay and fight for change in the lands they have left. really shows what they think of kids and women in general.
