Whitby v Pools

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

9:24 train to Whitby from Hartlepool, arriving 11:51.

A few drinks, then off to the match.

Fish and chips after the game, a few drinks back to the station to catch the 19:42 train, change at the Boro and back in Hartlepool 21:59 for a few last drinks.

A perfect day!

Please check the Whitby train is running tomorrow both ways.

I was on a train from Whitby to Seaton today which got stranded at Glaisedale for 3 hours due to signal failure. The train couldn't move through a red light and the train to Whitby was cancelled. There was obviously no quick fix or I wouldn't have been stuck in a fecking sauna train all afternoon.
