National Day of Mourning

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

National Day of Mourning

I appreciate that Yanks have long since owned the fourth of July due to some event that occurred of hundreds of years in the dim and distant past. However I believe the UK should declare today as a National Day of Mourning due the following;

1. The tragic death of Liverpool footballer, Diogo Jota (OK he's not British but he's an adopted son of an English city).
2. The first anniversary of the Labour Muppets being elected with a huge majority - by default - to 'govern' this country.
3. Pools striker and proven goalscorer Mani Dieseruvwe being permitted to leave the club and sign up for a rival club for sweet FA as a direct result of the owners neglect/incompetence. Hang your head in shame Raj Singh.

Bob Ross, American artist and television host.
Barry White singer.
Eric Sykes, British radio, stage and television comedy writer, actor and director.
Jean-Baptiste Tati Loutard, Congolese politician.

To name but a few.

Don't look Ethel! Of course the Tories have equally as many Muppets as Labour but I was advocating a National Day of Mourning - the Tories were annihilated on 4th July 2024 therefore a cause for celebration!
