I appreciate that Yanks have long since owned the fourth of July due to some event that occurred of hundreds of years in the dim and distant past. However I believe the UK should declare today as a National Day of Mourning due the following;
1. The tragic death of Liverpool footballer, Diogo Jota (OK he's not British but he's an adopted son of an English city).
2. The first anniversary of the Labour Muppets being elected with a huge majority - by default - to 'govern' this country.
3. Pools striker and proven goalscorer Mani Dieseruvwe being permitted to leave the club and sign up for a rival club for sweet FA as a direct result of the owners neglect/incompetence. Hang your head in shame Raj Singh.
