My missus' new kraut car arrived yesterday and Mini is definitely not a word I would use when describing it. I went with her to the supermarket and it was parked next to a Ford Galaxy - very little in it in terms of dimensions.

Here's a comparison with her old car, a Merc A class - How is that a friggin mini? It's built on a BMW X3 chassis.

I think cars are now designed to fit the battery. Minis now are all electric i believe ?

Most mini sized cars nowadays barely fit in parking bays and very few fit in a home storage space (sometimes called a garage).
Try the comparison with an original Mini, seen them side by side a couple of times, like a 10 year old stood next to Tyson Fury.

All cars a are getting wider it appears, country roads are becoming a nightmare now with people driving a car the width of a transit but driving like they’re in an original mini.

all made worse when you compare the space inside older models to the present ones. not very different apart from headroom where even a 6ft plus driver could ware a top hat now with ease. all this is made even worse by them being designed for the safety of more vunerable road users but driven less safely but more expensivly if they have any bump in them.
