Aye, but the currency in football is goals and points, the entertaing stuff comes a distant second….would be nice to combine the two though.

Yeah they were superb under Holloway that season - sure they beat us 4 nil home and away that season. Think the score flattered us on both occasions!

I remember going down to Swindon on the last day and playing out the last twenty minutes for a draw  I'm sure Port Vale put in a complaint   clappp

Great days and shows what's possible with steady investment - a world away from the current shit show

Think the score at Loftus Road was 4-1 ( Eiffion maybe scored for us ? ). We were absolutely battered that day, Kevin Gallen ran riot !

I don't remember us scoring, though if we did it was after we'd shipped 4. Think Gallen may have had a hattrick that day
Sure Paul Furlong and Gareth Ainsworth played for them that day too. I just remember every time they came forward, it felt like they'd score. We were outclassed - not many occasions when we've been well beaten and couldn't complain about it!

I remember there being quite a serious injury in that Swindon game, which took several minutes to sort out. Think we were all pleasantly surprised when the ref blew after 5 whole seconds of injury time. It certainly felt like a gentleman's agreement had been played out...
