I spotted this coming several weeks ago but a few people said he was on holiday! Not a peep out of him since the last day of the season was the giveaway - and Pools trying to sign Boston's manager was the confirmation.

If these were normal circumstances I can't say I'd be too disappointed. Came over as a really nice bloke but another who struggled for any consistency - 5 wins, 6 draws, 6 losses. Consistently average results to be fair.

The only straw I'm grasping to is the hope that this has been done at the request of the pending new owners so they aren't the 'bad guys' sacking someone on their 1st day and they come in with their new manager.

Interesting all of the board approved, that's one way to avoid responsibility---When someone sees our fans rep maybe they can ask him why he endorsed going behind the managers back to hire someone else on the sly before sacking him

unofficially it might have been decided 5 weeks ago but he was still getting paid. cannot see another club where fans have not heard a peep from its manager in that period. on the other hand he might have wanted to say something but was blocked if the words he used was not seen to be pro the current owner. we,ll never going to know the facts unless limbrick refused his pay off and signing an NDA. one day him or someone else will tell the facts from there point of view and we could be in for a bigger shock than we expect.
