**HARTLEPOOL UNITED FANS, WE’VE BEEN SCREWED AGAIN!**

This is an absolute DISGRACE! Raj Singh, the so-called "saviour" of Hartlepool United, has slapped a £3.6 MILLION price tag on our beloved club—a club that doesn’t even own its own ground, has NO training facilities, a measly SIX players on the books, and ZERO tangible assets to justify that ludicrous valuation! Are you KIDDING me, Raj?! £3.6 million for a hollowed-out shell of a football club that’s been bled dry under your watch? This is nothing short of a slap in the face to every loyal Pools fan who’s stuck by this team through thick and thin!

And now, the gut-punch: the Conor McGregor-led consortium, which could’ve brought global spotlight to our little club, has WALKED AWAY. Imagine what could’ve been—a blockbuster Amazon series, “No Monkeying Around: Hartlepool United,” putting Pools on the map, with McGregor’s larger-than-life energy and investment breathing life back into this town’s pride and joy. But no, that dream’s been obliterated, and who do we have to thank? RAJ SINGH. This is the SECOND time this man has royally screwed over Hartlepool—first with his chaotic reign of bizarre managers and zero ambition, and now by pricing out any hope of a brighter future with this delusional £3.6 million fantasy!

Let’s talk facts: Hartlepool United is a club on its knees. Relegated to the National League, a squad stripped bare with only six players left, and no assets to speak of—not even the Suit Direct Stadium or a proper training ground! Yet Singh has the AUDACITY to demand £3.6 million while takeover talks with genuine investors like Shelley Hammond’s Herd Group stall in the mud. Jeff Stelling, our own legend, resigned as honorary president in disgust over Singh’s handling of this mess, calling out the “intolerable position” fans are in. And still, Singh clings on, seemingly more interested in squeezing every last penny out of our club than saving it from collapse.

This isn’t just mismanagement—it’s a betrayal of Hartlepool, a town that lives and breathes its football club. Singh’s reign has been a masterclass in failure: from putting Darlington into administration years ago to now holding Pools hostage with a valuation that’s pure fiction. Fans are furious, and we have EVERY RIGHT to be! We deserve better. We deserve owners who care about the badge, not just their bank accounts. Raj Singh, you’ve let this town down AGAIN. Get out of our club, and take your £3.6 million pipe dream with you!

Regardless of the credibility of this, who on earth would want Connor McGregor anywhere near the football club?! A man with multiple assault, sexual assault and rape allegations and convictions to his name, who cosied up to Trump recently and pissed off the Irish government, not exactly a stable and steady owner following all this mess with Raj.

If it is £3.6 million I would like to see Singhs business plan that justifies that figure although I think it’s bulls***.. The only thing you are buying is Pools debt and if it’s around £3.6 million they are in the s**** !

The way it’s going, when he does leave the Vic will be a vacant lot devoid of buildings and stands and weeds..loads of nettles brambles and dandelions with Hartlepool vulture. (headland gull) circling….plus a burnt out car and some fly tipping…our post apocalyptic future.

Isn't that normally called "goodwill" in business deals? Raj has certainly not got much of that!

everyone when selling stuff start high knowing they can drop down to a price close to what they really want. thats normal people and guess he,s the type to say thats the price and you have two options. just a pity there cannot be independant tribunals to put a fixed price on what clubs are actually worth like here is with players.

Whatever he's asking, the "Interim Board" said there'd been 2 acceptable offers so sounds like it's haggling over either something found during DD or the method / terms of payment.
If the deal is dead I'd expect it to be announced by Herd or the Interim Board or both.
Got to wonder wtf is going on though, Raj says he doesn't know which players the new owners might want but we're in negotiations with some? Also, who's made the approach to the Boston manager - Raj, Herd, Interim Board???
It seems that an approach has definitely been made.

Totally agree, he's accepted offers, so it has to be renegotiating after dd. I think he's just trying to squeeze everything he can out of it, and have a shit on the carpet on the way out.
I think £3.6 million is utter nonsense gavin john needs a fucking slap for spreading this divisive shit.

its not nonsence if someone is prepared to pay it. actually what is pools actually worth and other clubs too. you hear of deals where clubs are sold for say a tenner but new owners become responsible for the clubs debts previously accrued. would that price mentioned be the price they need to pay to start off with a debt free club including singh getting hi money back.

I'm saying that raj slapping a £3.6m price tag on it and that's stopping the sale is nonsense. They've agreed a price.

Don't forget he will want a golden handshake for all the abuse he has had to put up with. refred

Included in the fixtures n fittings.

He's very Wierd.

since he put the club up for sale how many partys have walked away which i,d guess includes some we never have got to hear of. some might be jokers but doubt all are and we are one of those unlucky clubs with an owner who has got two jokers in his hand.

Does he deserve his Money back, He is a business man and bought pools with his eyes wide open.
His choice 100%.
When doing so he took FULL responsibility for the well being of the Club, His TOTAL responsibility to nurture the Club to the best of his Financial ability.
If debts have been incurred to the detriment and well being of the Club, Then Raj Singh holds total responsibility for those debts.
If then Club is becoming such a burden as to not allowing him to INVEST enough more than the daily running costs, Then he needs to leave.

One way or another he will be LEAVING.
People at the club have a choice, Pick a side.
Because Poolies have very long memories and NO excuses will pass.

There was a post recently on Twitter that reminded us that we went from having £1.7m in the bank in July 2022 to now, where apparently Raj made an emergency payment to cover tax. Also, anyone actually know what the Covid loan was spent on? There were cup runs, manager and player compensation etc.
Does anyone really think Raj is that much out of pocket? I’d suggest there is no way the £2m owed to Clarence 18 is a genuine loss.

While the OP may well be a crank the story sounds like perfect Singh behaviour so might not be that far off the mark.

Any body buying a club and thinking they’re going to walk away financially untouched should see a psychiatrist…..an injection of 100% Common Sense and Reality Tablets need to be administered.

What the Interim Board say(Sings yes men).
I would certainly take with a pinch of salt.

In his spoof video he says 2 Or 3 interested parties.

Why's say or?

Does he struggle with counting after 1.

I do agree with you - buying a football club is not a sound investment.
The point I was making here though is that Raj may well actually get out unscathed or even up, due to a combination of promotion, good cup runs, selling players, compo for Chally, a large covid loan, plus someone apparently ok with actually paying good money for the club.
I read the current impasse as nothing more than Raj being a greedy get and wanting more, with a smidge of vengeance thrown in.

Everybody's thrashing around in the absence of any real news. 5 weeks since the season finished and nearly 3 weeks since the retained list came out, and the news blackoout is almost total.

The pitch has had a bit of attention, there's some recruitment for ancillary staff going on, and that's about it. It would be comical if it wasn't so feckin' tragic.

Meanwhile, it's open season for any crank who feels like starting a rumour. banghead

I was actually agreeing with you, …it’s just me putting the written boot in our Glorious benefactors incomprehensible take on how to sell a football club he appears to not want to sell…like a cat doing a back flip in a litter tray…it won’t end well.

I just heard that a consortium headed by a wealthy Harley St specialist in constipation who's backed by a septet of space aliens has just made Raj an offer he can't refuse.

(Ahem!)

I don't know anything. but I think any deal with the parties interested in buying the club so far, may be dead in the water for the time being. Raj has stated there is still categorically no party at the moment with the funds needed to take over running of the club. And he has now given over the sale to an agent to handle it from now on, so the club can focus on the new season. Using a business agent for a sale is a first and a major change in events for me. Equivalent perhaps of putting your house back on the market after a buyer drops out? The interim board is no longer now that Raj has returned and I think the approach for Coughlan [if true} is a reflection that the focus is now very much on gearing up for the new season. As a caveat Raj is a reported to be a well known pathological liar and of course nothing he says deserves any credulity. We shall see.

Considering the video where he announced there was an agent dealing with the sale was filmed last Monday, and the herd statement saying they were firmly at the table and committed to the sale was Thursday, I'm figuring it's still on
If it's dead within a week, then Raj has killed it, so fuck Raj and fuck his phoney board.

If they've met the asking price with an acceptable bid, and deposited 10% for DD to start, then surely it's got fuck all to do with him, how they plan to finance things going forward, once he's gone.

Yet more stalling,- he clearly has NO intention of selling the club to anybody. This is now getting beyond the joke.

He's basically holding us to ransom - pay your money and be quiet or I'll put you in Admin.

Well at this rate - I think I'd rather take my chances. And Why hasn't he been paying HMRC?

Until Herd come out and say it's dead- which they haven't as yet, then we have hope!

and I'm sure I heard that Kieran Maguire say that for DD to take place herds solicitors had to show Raj's solicitors they have the funds to do what they say they can. All this proof of funds nonsense is irrelevant.
