I know we are mentioning the 4 out of contract but isnt he in essentially the same situation?-any word on him or are we expecting to lose him as well?

The way I look at it- assume the worst (they all leave) and be relieved if they decide to stay

You have to accept that most players are just contractors looking for the next pay day. Some are genuine, but most are just passing through, like owners ….and it pays to not get too attached to them.

According to the Retained List Dan Dodds is supposedly "in ongoing contract discussions with the Club" - like Josh Mazfari, and we know how that turned out

Think the right comparison is with Mancini. Doddsy has never really recovered from his bad injury the season before last. The season just gone was very stop-start for him and his last few games for Pool were pretty bad - he kept getting caught out of position and his confidence looked shot. To be honest he'd do well to get fixed up with an NLN club on that form.

I'd take a chance on him getting back to his best with Pools, but who knows what they'll do.

I'd take a chance on him too, if that's even an option. He's a great player and a summer off might do him the world of good.

Wouldn't bet against that - unless he gets himself fixed up somewhere else.

He’s had a full season to prove his fitness…..enough is enough….anyway it’s all la la land fantasising under this shower.

I heard a solid rumour that he’s exploring playing part time.

i actually could take that seeing how many times we have struggled playing part time teams. if the budget is that bad i,m sure we could pick up better part time lads than full time scrap we have signed over the last few seasons. a decent temporary measure for us if it does not become a permanent one.

Sorry but we do not need to go PT, A buyer/buyers are in the wings according to the club.
You cannot switch PT/FT for the wrong reasons, Meaning if no one was interested.

I meant PT playing staff, The gates would drop like a lead balloon.
Some think we would keep our gates, No chance i reckon we would lose at least 2 thirds.
