The British Army is encouraging a shift away from harsh and shouting leadership styles and instead going to be ‘more David Beckham’ in their leadership style, by adopting a more diplomatic and empathetic approach when training recruits.
banghead

what next, a choice of uniform and sleeping arrangements with orders replaced by respectful suggestions where recruits can make their own minds up whether to follow the request or not especially if the please word aint used. end up that there will be more toughs in the salvation than british army,s.

Their kit bag will have a ration pack consisting of four emergency aftershaves, moisturising wipes, hair gel, top brand spare underwear and hair stylists replacing medics.
The enemy will be green with envy …then kick the shit out of us Oh dear.

It’ll be the uniforms next, that dreadful catalogue of drab colours will replaced by the colours of the rainbow and fragrances to match in flowing robes…the enemy will die of envy and embarrassment…unable to compete.

If you struggle to recruit from the current generation then you have to change. Apparently young men said they wouldn't join the RAF because they couldn't grow a beard. Now they can. Personally I think they were told that the accommodation blocks were crap but that would have cost money to fix and beards are free.

The beards will sharp disappear when the time comes, you need a nice snug seal on your respirator.
While we get more ‘understanding’, I doubt the opposition will be lumbered with such social etiquette.
