Hopefully MannyD.
Just knew he was Gunna miss that sitter to make it 2 0.
Most overated player to ever wear a Pools shirt.
Mass clear out of all the deadwood required.

They can all go apart from Miley.

I always felt we had a team that never performed to its full potential…for every good performance you got an indifferent one……if you can’t get players to give you their best consistently in every match, try the Cyril Knowles approach because certain players really did need a rocket up their arse…it’s called management strategy, getting the best out of what you’ve got and driving it to succeed, no place for tea and sympathy .

Strange that the player last off the field after photos and signing shirts was our loaned Reyes Cleary, was still out there when there must have been fewer than 50 people left in the MH side of the ground, long after the rest had gone.
Good luck to him, saved us from a relegation battle imo, clearly loved playing for us even though he's far too good for NL.

Its obvious from your comments KPG that you do not attend any matches, otherwise you would know along with the majority of the 4000 regulars that it’s not just his goalscoring but hold up play and defending that makes him an excellent player for us.
It’s true that Manni D has missed a few chances this season but come on which striker doesn’t miss the odd sitter?
With over 40 goals in two seasons (which is almost a goal every two matches) the record books will show that Manni has been a great signing for us, as a matter of interest who was the last player on our books to score this many goals?

1.34 a.m. I assume you were pissed when you typed that? The guy has scored 40 goals in 2 seasons for a bang average team. Give your head a shake or stick to darts in future.

they have had 3 different managers though this season and none have shown different form under any of them. usually with a change of manager you see improvement in some and a drop off for others.

every team is looking for a goalscorer and if he can agree terms quickly he,ll be gone in days to another team at our level when he is released. he misses sitters and thats why is career has been in non league football.

Dunno about that. Nobody was playing well under Sarll. Pools had 2 wins in 2 months from the back end of August till the back end of October. We'd have gone down if they'd stuck with that idiot. Results definitely improved under auld Len and Limbrick - just not enough.

results did improve but individual players did not even if they were happier after the barra boy got the boot.

If we did not have Clearly God knows where we be in the league. He seemed to be involved in every goal we have scored in all the recent games he has played in.

Been saying that for a while, on at least a par with Dan Kemp as top loanees in recent seasons. Great attitude from the kid and I'm sure he'll go on to have a decent career in efl football.

Convert him to centre back if his defending is better than his woeful attacking.
Ye. :naughty:

Nothing wrong with his finishing last season, this season he looks as if he's well out of practice. Probably looks worse when he fails to convert 1 out of 1 chances, whereas last year he was getting a lot more chances.
I think the last 2 seasons have been the highest scoring of his career. Last season also showed he's more prolific with a strike partner, as is Grey. We fixed something that wasn't broke by sticking Joe out wide or too deep.

The KP method did OK with them lots of penalties.

A few reckon to many managers is our freefall.
Shudda Wudda Cudda scenario again.
But KP had proved himself to a proper full season with his own valued recruitment.

An absolute muppet decision to bin him for bullshittershipman. :angry-tappingfoot:

you would not have minded if somehow we beat loads of others to sign a top manager. did not exactly have the best cv to start with and more failures than success.

we are right at the back of the queue now for appointing a new right manager an better players until the ownership of the club is sorted out and the settling in period after. longer all this takes the chances of a better season diminishes.

best brand of football is only played if the team wins. could have taken sarll ball if we won and gained promotion with it.
