Pools weren’t far away from signing Pedersen, he ended up going to an Austrian team, SC Bregenz.

Funny thing is, when I saw the line up I was a bit dubious…. but funny how an odd match of players did a job, especially the defence.

Very satisfying afternoon. The Heed had about half their usual home gate in the Rink End, and weren't they just full of themselves at the start By the end the NWC was singing "Are you Darlo in disguise?"

Cleary was different class, but it was a good team performance (from the outfield players at least...) As they both get a fair amount of stick, it's worth saying that that Charman and Featherstone were among our better players today.

Didn't see any evidence of people 'not trying' either Towards the end of the 1st half the ball was given away near their corner flag. 4 players sprinted almost the length of the pitch to close their player down. Reyes got there first and won the ball back, but the othere weren't far behind.

Reckon whoever is interested in taking over Pools- Will want to be paraded in front of the fans, at the last home game- as no matter what happens it will be downhill after that!

Sometimes it’s where a player feels comfortable that brings the best out of a player.
It’s never a case of just turning up and playing football…….if a place has a good vibe, people will perform.
We’ve all worked at a place where after a short period you realise that it’s not for you yet the staff there seem happy themselves.

He's obviously loving it here, looks like a good run of games as a starter is benefitting him massively.
Shows what we've been missing for a long time and what defenders hate to play against, a decent winger with pace.
He's the reason we even has a chance of getting to the play offs imo. Think he'll have earned a place in div 1 next season.

Without Clearly we would be well down the league.

especially when we played a large part of the game without a recognised centre back on the pitch. complete opposite to what we saw from them on friday. mind you it also helped to show for me and others in my camp that goalkeeping is the one position where no improvement has been made in the game.
