It's been an awful long time since the bookies got League 1 right.

They were somewhere near with Wigan.
But they missed out completely on Plymouth.
And Luton.
And Sarfend.
And Scunny.
Mind, the bookies weren't the only ones who never saw those last four coming.

So a bet on Pools isn't that daft an idea; a bet on any team isn't that daft an idea. Time will tell. Maybe it really will be a BIG club's turn for once.

I don't think any of the promoted teams will struggle and can't really see any obvious strugglers among those that already in the division except perhaps Cheltenham or Orient.
It's not like before is it when you could count on at least Posh, Stockport, and Chesterfield to be sweating it out at the end of the season.

I didn't know that and I'll admit that my assessment of those two has no real foundation apart from their finishing positions last season.
There again didn't Blackpool just avoid the drop the season before?
