Promoted to Division 1 of the Northern League after winning the league 2 title yesterday. clappp clappp clappp

I think it would be a good idea and a nice gesture if Pools started off their pre-season with a friendly at Horden CW.

Crimdon Dene Holiday Park is the obvious stop over. Half a day running up and down the sand dunes will get them in fine fettle - a la Tony Tomms.

Well done Horden.
Hopefully they can progress like Spennymoor.

Been a decent season for our North East non league teams.
Looks like Stockton Dunston n Newton Aycliffe Gunna be in the play offs.

Our future still highly in the balance.
Hope I'm wrong but reckon we starting next season off in division 7 evo stick Northern Premier.

Just can't see a peaceful takeover.

If(??) he's going then a take over makes way more financial sense than admin.
Also, I may be wrong but if we do go into admin then as long as we agree a voluntary creditors settlement then if a credible buyer bought us out of admin we wouldn't be relegated we'd start next season in NL with a points deduction? Definite relegation if the admin s can't find a buyer and liquidate the club.

Totally new club now. Norman packed Horden in, I reckon around 7 or 8 years ago, if not longer.

Surely landing at Shotton Intercontinental and staying across the road at Taliban Towers would be more cost effective..?

The reviews of that top-quality "hotel" are well worth a read...

Quality aren't they? The place is a halfway house pretending not to be one by taking in the odd paying guest.

They were an official halfway house until an arson incident a few years ago. Word got round that a kiddie-fiddler was living there, and I'm sure you can guess the rest.

Their delightful residents torture the Co-op by piling-in en masse and grabbing as much swag as they can. Staff are told not to intervene.

Once again, I am sure you can guess the rest...

:(
