I never understood why anyone would wear a donkey's jacket. Surely it would be way too big for a man.

Talk about accentuate the negative, you coloured in the book.

TBH Snowy I was taken aback by your post, you are actually in support of something Starmer and the Labour government has done ?

What’s does ‘you coloured in the book’ mean ?

I am in favour of nationalising Steel, Railways, Buses, Water, Gas and Electric Genration.
Regarding Starmer, he’s no socialist just Blair’s representative on Earth…and neither is most of his Government, this is only happening because it’s been forced upon him……and I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t get it nationalised and jusy pay out money to keep it open.
Pity it’s not the total nationalisation of the entire steel industry….with the heavy emphasis on the Scunthorpe blast furnaces alone.

Couldn't agree more, nothing to do with socialism either, it's just common sense. Why wouldn't you want control of your countries essential services and utilities, why pay through the nose so foreign investors can over-charge us. How can we ever have Energy security for example when foreign company's own the industry?

Your waisting your time trying to educate Jamie no matter what truths you push he will always twist it in one way another to fit his arguments. Whatever happened to people simply accepting they got something wrong sctatchinghead No matter what people think of me if I get something wrong or I misunderstood what was accurately happening or took place I would 100% say hands up lads I get it wrong here FACT. Those who know me on her personality know thats how I am.

funny thing that as many of there voters do even those on the right of the party. its not nationalisation they object to its how wasteful many organisations seem to be with it and point out the NHS being a prime example. a system where nationalisation happens but run on private company lines would be ideal for most.

Privatisation works for a while and then managers and private company suppliers start to take the piss. Same with Councils who find they are being ripped off by the private sector such as children's care and old people's care.

Great to see jobs saved but as Scunthorpe have no longer coke making facilities, it’s imported the iron ore is imported from halfway round the world and the high U.K. energy costs it’s difficult to see how British Steel can be turned around to be profitable.

We would have had home produced coke from Cumbria if the eco gobshites hadn’t objected and got the project cancelled in the High Court.
Criminal how these things which benefit the majority can be binned because a noisy minority demanded it’s cancellation.

Not now, not ever.
