In terms of success draws and losses are the same!

Look at the table top 7 places and see how the positions change if only wins were used to rank teams. Only one team Gateshead is out of sequence when draws are ignored. If you are the type who boo the team off for losing, you should also boo them off for drawing if you want success.

If you go home satisfied with a draw, you are easily pleased. Wins and losses having given a good go at winning are the only decent results imho!

Pools dont draw any more and deliberately scored in the last minutes in the last game to avoid a draw.

has anybody got the league tables for the last season where you got a point for a draw and two for a win. there seems to be many other teams apart from pools who have drawn more games than they should have done therefore is there more draws now than back in those days. it feels it for me as since the introduction of three points for a win a draw is like a defeat and its nothing but a win now that satisfies me where once an away draw felt like a victory.
